Emily Hearsey

Booking Consultant

As the Assistant Tour Manager for Tom Jones for the past few years, and spending much time in Las Vegas, Emily is no stranger to the entertainment industry. She now also performs herself in a 70s tribute band in the highest pair of silver platforms in the business & successfully runs her her own function band.

Emily has also worked as a journalist and has written for titles including Sky Magazine, The Daily Star, Smash Hits, Just 17, For Women, OK Magazine as well as having her own columns in FHM and More! Magazine.  She is no stranger to organising the ultimate party, liasing with clients and using her wealth of connections and bounty of world-class musicians and recommending the very best entertainment whatever the event calls for.

 

Catherine Fish

 Sales Consulatant

As a working performer and music teacher, Cath knows just what works for any event you are booking for. She is no stranger to the world of entertainment having made her performance debut at the age of 4 on the Royal Albert Hall stage! Since then she has completed her degree in music at the University of Nottingham and a post-graduate course in vocal performance at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

She has managed choirs and ensembles throughout England, walked the boards at the Palace theatre and Palladium stage, London.

 

Sara Hartley

Classical Music Consultant

A valuable source of help and information regarding all music classical, Sara heads MFL Classical, our classical division at Music for London. With a Master of Music degree in Vocal Performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and a Bachelor Degree in music from St Olaf College in Minnesota, she confidently understands the ins and outs of what it takes to bring classical music to any setting.

As an active performer, Sara is well versed in the art of bringing classical musicians to just about every kind of corporate and private event. She has been working with clients to book musicians for their events since 1999 as a graduate assistant at the Conservatory of Music as a student in San Francisco, so helps guide our clients through the process of deciding what type of group is best for their event and venue, and makes the process of finding the perfect ensemble simple and seemingly effortless.

 

Thomas Greenwood

Creative Consultant

Tom is a graduate from the University of Westminster and is a freelance sound engineer responsible for a few hit records. At MFL he is responsible for dealing with new artistes, recording them and providing information to potential clients

 

Sean Mitchell

Creative Consultant

Flowing with ideas and masterfully eloquent. Sean graduated with a BA in Commercial Music from the University of Westminster. As a session singer, he has worked with Omar, Eternal, All Saints, Eric Clapton, Elton John, Sting, Pavarotti and has released his own single. The independent club release “Celebrate Life”  was a huge success.

With Music for London he choreographs the aesthetics of live music events and heads the MFL gospel choir . He has an innate ability to bring out the best in the artistes he works with. His unique capacity to transform something ordinary into spectacular is truly remarkable.

He was the Project Coordinator for Edwin Shirley Staging (ESS) and under the wing of "Giant Maker" is developing the infrastructure for a community based music project in Hackney that will encourage inner city youth to capitalise on the talents and skills they posses.

 

Lisa Greenwood

Office Manager

Lisa is responsible for all admin and contracts that are sent out to clients and ensures that things things run smoothly in the office.

 

Aïssatou SYLLA

Legal Consultant

Aïssatou is from France and is well versed with UK, US and French music business. She studied French and Anglo-American Law in Cergy-Pontoise University and simultaneously studied in London. She is now an LLM in Entertainment Law graduate from the University of Westminster and a Masters in French Business Law graduate from the Panthéon-Sorbonne University (Paris).

Focused on the music business and Intellectual Property, she now freelances actively for the professional French and English music scene. Her main job is to help negotiate and draft music business contracts in French or English.

Her music interests include early 70s soul music, 80s British pop, early 90s French and American hip-hop and American r ’n’ b.

 

Niels Schneider

Legal Consultant

Niels is an  LLM qualified graduate with a merit from the University of Westminster, London He completed with honours his basic law degree at Staatsexamen (LL.B.); Westfälische Wilhelms Universität, Münster (Germany). He has particular knowledge in areas of the law related to the entertainment industry and is capable of quickly adapting new environments and dealing with new challenges.  

He is a flexible and committed individual with excellent organisation skills specialising in Entertainment and Media law. He has excellent working knowledge of Intellectual Property Law, European Competition Law and  Media Regulation in UK and Germany and has an in depth knowledge of the German Law System. He speaks fluent German, English and  French. Of course he loves his Football, Music and Beer.

 

Titus Raj 

Business Development

Titus has a crossover of talent. He has been a professional musician and has been actively involved as a freelancer in all levels of the event industry in the UK and Europe. He is a graduate from the University of Westminster with a BA in Commercial Music and an MA in Entertainment Law. 

He has a wide working knowledge on all the major venues in London. Working in various parts of Asia and Europe as a  professional pianist he is well travelled and musically sound.

At MFL he is responsible for business development and marketing. He is also responsible for the development of Music for Asia.
