ROBERT GURVITS AND ANJA ROSSAU

Since being a prize winner for the Young Singers' Competition in Denmark in 1996 she has won many international awards including the Minnie Hauk Song Prize, the Sir Norman Lindop Trophy and the Grisi & Mario Prize. Since coming to London she has been performing in prestigious venues and music festivals, lately she performed at the St. Lawrence Jewry Music Festival, London and has also been a soprano soloist for the famous Messiah.

She has studied under Robert Tear, Teresa Cahill and Margret Honig in the UK. Her masterclasses have also been with Fernanda Piccini in Italy, Helge Frees and Gerhard Pohl in Denmark.
Her parts in opera include Gretel, in Hansel & Gretel (Humperdinck) and the role of Fiordiligi in Cosi Fan Tutte (Mozart).

Anja is, very willing to tailor a specific program to a certain venue, but below are listed some examples of programmes for lunchtime recitals with approximate timings. Evening recitals of longer duration with opera arias included are also catered for as well as joint recitals with other singers or instrumentalists.

WEDDINGS

During the signing of the register a soprano can provide a beautiful presentation to the guest. For the entrance of the bride little can rival the exhilarating sound of a church organ combined with a soprano while proceeding down the aisle. For civil ceremonies different boroughs have different requirements but generally music that has no religious influence is required.
