As well as maintaining an active professional life performing opera, musical theatre, and corporate events in and around the London area, Sara enjoys singing for weddings and more personal events on a regular basis throughout the year.

She earned her Masters Degree with Distinction in Vocal Performance from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, where she studied with the talented mezzo-soprano and vocal department chair Wendy Hillhouse. Her operatic lead roles include that of Gretel in Hansel & Gretel in San Francisco, Susanna in The Marriage of Figaro in Berkeley, Loretta in Gianni Schicchi in Minnesota and Julie in Carousel in St Albans. Some of Sara’s many achievements in competition include San Francisco Conservatory of Music Scholarship, Burlingame Music Club Voice Competition First Prize, California Federation of Music Clubs Competition Prize, St. Olaf Orchestra Senior Soloist, and the Winston Cassler Music Scholarship.

Recently Sara has performed for corporate and personal events in intimate as well as grand venues including the Royal Opera House, Painters Hall, Grosvenor House, Park Plaza Victoria, The Wisley, Claridges, The Savoy, The Oracle Centre, Kew Gardens, Park Lane Hilton, Asprey, Lincoln’s Inn, Crown Plaza London, Oakwood Hall, Olympia Grand Hall, Gretra Hall, Christ Church Spitalfields, Sopwell House, Great Fosters, The Dorchester and many others.

Sara will work with you to ensure that you are happy with the songs and format of music that she provides for your special event. She can cater to your Religious or Civil ceremony with a wide repertoire of traditional and non-religious song. If requested she can also provide suggestions based on your format, or perform your requests.

Where accompaniment is concerned, she is also well experienced at singing with pianists, organists, string quartets, choir, a cappella, and more. She is happy to work with musicians whom you’ve arranged independently, or to organise accompaniment per your request. If you are unsure of what you’d like, Sara is happy to talk you through the options based on your venue.
