Rachel Jenkins discovered a love of singing jazz music at a young age and whilst growing up became involved with many musical events and local choirs.
After taking time out to finish her higher education Rachel has spent the last two years forging a career in singing and has wowed crowds, performing at London venues such as the Paxton’s Head Knightsbridge, Camden Jazz Café, Tatty Bogle Club, Vortex, Jazz After Dark, Kabaret, Pizza On The Park and is performing at the Hampton Court Flower Show in July 2004.
In her jazz duo, Rachel performs lead vocals and is accompanied by Edison Herbert, one of the best jazz guitarists on the UK scene. With a repertoire spanning Latin, Traditional and Modern Jazz, the duo can add a sense of style and a wonderful atmosphere to private functions and corporate events.
With a vocal range of three and a half octaves Rachel is a versatile session singer and has sung as a featured artist with successful London based musicians and producers.
